- The American Corner Skopje officially opened in January 2005.
The American Corner is a resource center but we also host a wide variety of events, such as:
- cultural programs and guest lectures from U.S.
- presentations,
- film and video showings,
- poetry readings,
- conversational hours,
- Readers Club,
- Kids' clubs and story hours
- Workshops
and many other events.
All our services are free.
In the field of education, we provide student advising for study in U.S. and the American Corner serves as an alumni center where Macedonian citizens who have been to the United States on exchange programs can gather and keep in touch with each other and with their American contacts.
The American Corner program is sponsored worldwide by the U.S. Department of State. - Location
