About the Author
Kenan Malik is a writer, lecturer, and broadcaster. He is a presenter of The Moral Maze on BBC Radio 4 (UK). He has taught at universities in Britain, Europe, Australia and the USA, presented many TV documentaries and writes regularly for newspapers across the world including as a columnist for the show more International New York Times. Strange Fruit: Why Both Sides are Wrong in the Race… by Kenan Malik
Deserves 6 stars and to be read by everyone.
Six stars. This is the best, clearest, most important book I've read in 5 years.
An excellent introduction to ethics. Malik is a wonderfully clear and unstuffy writer and in a relatively short book covers a huge amount of ground.

Malik dismantles the myths of both the "Islamophobia" and "Islamophilia" camps, providing along the way many cogent (and quotable) passages in defense of the right to write, publish, read, and offend.
