This book was a great book for older students learning in Science. It describes cells in the body, their functions and why they're so important. For example, it describes that all animals and living things have cells in an easy way to comprehend: "From plants to pelicans, bacteria to bats, starfish to spiders, toadstools to tuna, everything that is alive is made of cells." This book deserves 5 stars because it takes an important subject and breaks it down for kids to understand.

This picture book is about the human anatomy with a twist. Great to teach kids about the body and how to stay healthy from illnesses and how the body works in that way. In the book the body goes through a "battle" the kids could do a skit to act out the process. Fun for a 5th grade class.
